The duties and powers of the Planning and Zoning Commission shall include:
(A) Enforcing this chapter;
(B) Conducting investigations and surveys to determine compliance or noncompliance with the provisions of this chapter;
(C) Issuing to the Mayor written notice of all violations of this chapter and recommending actions to be taken; and
(D) Reviewing all applications for building permits; referring those requiring conditional use permits to the Board of Adjustments for action; and returning the remainder to the City Clerk-Treasurer with instructions for issuance or non-issuance of the building permit.
