(A) The County Fiscal Court, the City of Cloverport, and the City of Irvington have entered into an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for the purpose of enacting this chapter relating to the ethics of elected officials, appointees, and employee of all three entities.
(B) This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the “City of Cloverport, Kentucky Code of Ethics.” It will include ethical considerations related to the interlocal cooperation agreement in addition to considerations required to become a certified city of ethics under the Kentucky League of Cities program.
