§ 36.006 COMPENSATION.
   The compensation of the Chief of Police and members of the Police Department and the manner of payment thereof, shall be fixed from time to time by the City Council as set forth in § 31.02 of this title, and such compensation or salary so fixed shall be in lieu of fees.
