Applications and petitions filed pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall be accompanied by the filing of fees hereinafter specified. For each petition or application for a permit or certificate required by this chapter, the Town Council shall establish a schedule of fees. Said fees shall be paid to and collected by the Clerk-Treasurer, to be deposited in the General Fund. No part of any filing fee paid pursuant to this section shall be returnable to the applicant or petitioner.
