The distance trees may be planted from curbs or curblines and sidewalks will be in accordance with the three classes listed in § 153.03 and no trees may be planted closer to any curb or sidewalk than the following: small trees: two feet; medium trees: two and one-half feet; and large trees: three feet. Exceptions need to be approved by the town’s Main Street Board of Directors and the Town Council with the minimum planting distance from tree to sidewalk or curb as one and one-half foot.
