Restrictions for truck routes are as follows.
(A) All of the local streets in the town, excepting state highways, shall be restricted to automobiles and pick-up trucks, except where posted as truck route as set out in division (D).
(B) This section shall not apply to buses of less than 45 feet in length or vehicles making local deliveries, provided that such vehicles do not exceed 26,000 pounds gross weight.
(C) This section shall not apply to vehicles directly involved in the construction, reconstruction, repair, or demolition of structures or improvements if the activities are covered by permits obtained from the town.
(D) The restrictions herein may not be enforced until signs giving notice of such restrictions are erected upon the streets and rights-of-way.
