The Town Manager may require users of the sewage works to supply pertinent information on wastewater flow characteristics and constituents in order to verify compliance with the requirements of this subchapter. Such measurements, tests, and analyses shall be made by the user at the user’s expense. The town may also have such measurements, tests, and analyses performed with the expense of such assessed to the user at the option of the town. Whenever the town obtains or receives a wastewater or sewage sample for analysis, the town shall offer to split the sample with the user in order to allow the user an opportunity to conduct duplicate analytical tests in order to verify the analytical results received by the town.
