§ 51.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   (1)   Any person who violates §§ 51.20 through § 51.24 shall be guilty of an ordinance violation and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in an amount not exceeding $250 for each violation. Each day in which such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense.
      (2) Any person violating any of the provisions of §§ 51.20 through § 51.24 shall become liable to the town for any expense, loss, or damage occasioned by the town by reason of such violation. (Prior Code, § 9-115)
   (C)   Any user who violates §§ 51.39 or 51.40 may be punished by a fine of not more than $2,500 (see I.C. 36-l-3-8(a)(10)(B)). Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense. In addition to, or in the alternative to, a fine, water service may be terminated for any user who violates §§ 51.38 or 51.39.
