§ 156.106 OFFICIAL ZONING MAP.
   (A)   Map incorporated.
      (1)   The location and boundaries of the zoning districts established by this chapter shall be shown on the Official Zoning Map. The Official Zoning Map shall be identified by certification by and bearing the seal of the town under the following words:
 
“THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THIS IS THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN CHAPTER 6.2 OF ORDINANCE #2014-26 OF THE TOWN OF CLOVERDALE, INDIANA,
ADOPTED ON THE _____ DAY OF 2014”
 
      (2)   Certification shall be by the signature of the President of the Town Council, and attested by the Clerk-Treasurer.
   (B)   Omitted land. It is the intent of this chapter that the entire area of the town, including all land and water areas, be included in the districts established by this chapter. Any area lying within the town but not shown on the Official Zoning Map as being included in a district shall be deemed to be, and is hereby classified as being, within the R-1 Single Family Residential District.
   (C)   Maintenance and availability of Official Zoning Map. The official copy of the Zoning Map shall be maintained by the Zoning Administrator and shall be available for public inspection during town business hours at the Town Hall.
   (D)   Amendments to Map. Changes to zoning district boundaries or any change in any other information shown on the Zoning Map made by amendment to this chapter shall be indicated on the Official Zoning Map promptly after adoption. The date of such amendment shall also be shown on the Official Zoning Map, as well as the signature of the President of the Plan Commission and attested by the Secretary of the Plan Commission. No amendments shall be made on the Official Zoning Map except in conformance with procedures set forth under this chapter and the state statutes (amendments).
   (E)   Reproduction of Zoning Map. A revised, up-to-date copy of the Official Zoning Map, certified as being inclusive of all amendments and drawn to a convenient scale, shall be published from time to time and made available for sale.
   (F)   Replacement of the Official Zoning Map.
      (1)   In the event that the Official Zoning Map becomes damaged, destroyed, lost, or difficult to interpret because of the nature or number of changes and additions, the Town Council may, by resolution, adopt a new Official Zoning Map that shall supersede the prior Official Zoning Map. The new Official Zoning Map may correct drafting errors or other errors or omissions in the prior Official Zoning Map, but no correction shall have the effect of amending the Official Zoning Map. The new Official Zoning Map shall be identified by the signature of the President of the Town Council and attested by the Clerk-Treasurer and shall bear the seal of the town under the following words:
 
“THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THIS OFFICIAL ZONING MAP SUPERSEDES AND REPLACES THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP ADOPTED ON THE ____ DAY OF SEPTEMBER 2014, BY ORDINANCE #200____ OF THE TOWN OF CLOVERDALE, INDIANA, ADOPTED ON THE___ DAY OF______ 20___.”
 
      (2)   Unless the prior Official Zoning Map has been lost, or has been totally destroyed, the prior map or any significant parts remaining shall be preserved, together with all available records pertaining to its adoption or amendment.
