In accordance with the provisions of chapter 354 of the code of Iowa and amendatory acts thereto, to the extent not inconsistent with this title, the provisions of this title are hereby adopted by the city, governing the subdivision of all lands within the corporate limits of the city and, as provided in section 354.9 of the code of Iowa, governing the subdivision of all lands outside the city but within two (2) miles of the corporate limits.
