A. Sign Area: No more than fifteen (15) square feet of fuel island sign area shall be permitted per pump located within the fuel island. For example, a fuel island with six (6) pumps would be allowed ninety (90) square feet of sign area within the fuel island. The total sign area of a fuel island sign shall be the actual square footage of one sign face. Sign area installed in excess of the fifteen (15) square feet per pump shall be counted toward the total allowed sign area for building mounted or ground mounted signs based on installation type. Signs meeting the requirements of Section 11-12-23C9 of this title shall not count toward the permitted fuel island sign area.
B. Setback Requirement: The minimum setback required for fuel island signs shall be the same as required for the fuel island canopy on that lot.
C. Location: Fuel island signs shall be located internal to the site and oriented toward a fuel island.
D. Height: Fuel island signs shall not be installed at a height greater than eight feet (8'). (Ord. 1099, 4-8-2021)
