Pursuant to state published notice and public hearing, as required by state law, the National Electrical Code (NEC), published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 70), year and edition as amended and adopted by the State of Iowa Electrical Board, is adopted in full and shall constitute the “electrical code of the city of Clive, Iowa”. The use of the term “electrical code” in this chapter shall be interpreted to refer to the National Electrical Code (NEC), year and edition as adopted by the State of Iowa.
