8-2-3: DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS:
The director of public works has the following powers and duties related to the city sewage system:
   (Code of Iowa, Sec. 372.13[4])
   A.   Operation And Maintenance: Operate and maintain the city sewage system.
   B.   Inspection And Tests: Conduct necessary inspections and tests to assure compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
   C.   Records: Maintain a complete and accurate record of all sewers, sewage connections and manholes constructed showing the location and grades thereof.
   D.   Policies: Recommend to the council policies to be adopted and enforced to implement the provisions of this chapter regarding the sewage system. (2000 Code § 95.03)
