(A) Standards. All piping, accessories and other materials in a building sewer shall conform to the following applicable standards:
(1) All building sewer lines shall be Schedule 40 PVC with glue joints;
(2) All new lateral lines shall be Schedule 40 PVC with glue joints; and
(3) For purposes of visual inspections, purple PVC primer shall be used on all pipe, fittings and connections.
(B) Grade of pipe. The grade of the building sewer shall not be less than one-eighth inch per foot. All pipe shall be laid on a uniform grade and where possible, on a straight line.
(C) Y branch. A Y branch shall be installed in the building sewer at the desired location by the owner of the building sewer and brought up to ground level to serve as a clean out.
(D) Cross-connections. The building sewer line and the water service line shall not be laid in the same trench.
