(A) Except on designated roadways and in designated parking areas, all persons shall be prohibited from operating in any park a motorized vehicle, including, but not limited to, motorcycles, scooters, golf carts, trucks, cars, SUVs, utility vehicles, off-road vehicles, motor homes, RVs and buses.
(B) For the purposes of this section, the Sportland Park Track is not a roadway on which motorized vehicles may be used.
(C) This prohibition shall not apply to:
(1) Emergency vehicles or vehicles on emergency business;
(2) Municipal and government-operated vehicles; or
(3) Construction or maintenance vehicles while involved in the repair, construction or maintenance at any park, or if required for an official or authorized event being held at any park (i.e., 4th of July Celebration, Optimist Soccer).
