No signs of other advertising matter promoting a garage or yard sale may be placed in any public right-of-way, including trees and tree rows or posted on any public structure, including telephone poles and utility poles. Advertising promoting a garage or yard sale may not be posted more than 24 hours prior to commencement of the sale and must be removed immediately upon completion of the sale. Each violation of this section shall be deemed a separate offense subject to a separate fine.
