§ 32.01 CLOTHING ALLOWANCE.
   All newly hired police officers and fire drivers shall be provided with all uniforms, clothing, arms and equipment reasonably necessary to perform their duties during the first year of employment, regardless of costs. After one year of employment, all police officers and Fire Department employees, regardless of rank, shall receive a clothing allowance as set forth in the annual salary ordinance for public safety employees. Reserve police officers and volunteer firefighters will also receive a clothing allowance as provided for as part of the annual salary ordinance for public safety employees.
