§ 30.033 MEETINGS.
   (A)   (1)   The regular meeting date and time for the Common Council shall be immediately following the meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety on the third Tuesday of each month.
      (2)   The Mayor, or in his or her absence the President of the Council, shall be the presiding officer of Council pursuant to I.C. 36-4-6-8, and meetings shall be conducted pursuant to the applicable statutes (I.C. 36-4-6-10 through 36-4-6-17) and in accordance with the following rules which are hereby adopted as a part of this chapter.
   (B)   The Mayor, Clerk-Treasurer and the department heads for the Police, Fire, Utilities, Street, Cemetery, Parks, Golf and Zoning will meet on the Friday before the regular scheduled Common Council meeting. During this meeting, the department heads will sign all the claims for their perspective department, review the accounts payable register and the appropriation form. If the above mentioned personnel are unable to attend the meeting, they are to ensure that they have a designated representative to attend the meeting. The month of January, the Clerk-Treasurer will also inform all department heads of the contracts that affects their budgets.
   (C)   The regular meetings of the Board of Public Works and Safety shall be at 6:30 p.m. in the third Tuesday of each month.
