For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
HAWKER. One who goes about the streets, alleys and public grounds or elsewhere in the city selling or offering for sale any such goods by public outcry, placards or other signals or devices.
PEDDLER. One who goes about the streets selling or offering for sale any goods, wares or merchandise or articles of commerce.
