(A) First inspection. After beginning work permitted under this subchapter, the person responsible for said work shall notify the Utilities Superintendent so that the work may be inspected and approved before the excavation is backfilled.
(B) Second inspection. A second inspection shall be performed by the Utilities Superintendent following completion of the permitted work. The purpose of this inspection is to ensure that all roadways, alleyways, curbs, sewer or water lines, sidewalks or any other public utilities or rights-of-way or other property that may be disturbed, damaged, altered or otherwise affected by the permitted work have been replaced or repaired to as good as or better than its original state.
