8-1-6: FEES FOR SERVICES:
   (A)   Fees For Persons, Business, And Other Entities That Are Not Residents Of The City: The fees for all firefighting services rendered by the City to persons, businesses, and other entities that are not residents of the City shall be as follows:
      1.   Seventy dollars ($70.00) per hour per firefighter responding to a call, either at the incident site or at the fire station, with an aggregate maximum rate of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per hour for firefighter services.
      2.   Two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per hour per truck dispatched to the incident site.
      3.   Reimbursement, at actual costs, for materials used in rendering the services.
      4.   Nothing in this Section shall allow a fee to be fixed, charged, or collected that is not allowed under any contract that a fire department has entered into with another entity, including, but not limited to, a fire protection district.
   (B)   Fees For Technical Rescue Services: The fees for Technical Rescues shall be as follows:
      1.   Seventy dollars ($70.00) per hour per firefighter responding to a call, either at the incident site or at the fire station.
      2.   Two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per hour per truck dispatched to the incident site.
      3.   Reimbursement, at actual costs, for materials used in rendering the services.
   (C)   Fees For Specialized Rescue Services: The fees for Specialized Rescue Services, including Structural Collapse, Tactical Rescue, High Angel Rescue, Underwater Rescue and Recovery, Confined Space Rescue, Below Grade Rescue, and Trench Rescue shall be as follows:
      1.   Thirty five dollars ($35.00) per hour per firefighter.
      2.   One hundred twenty five ($125.00) per vehicle.
      3.   The fee may be charged to any of the following parties, but only after there has been a finding of fault against that party by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration or the Illinois Department of Labor:
         (a)   The owner of the property on which the specialized rescue services occurred;
         (b)   Any person involved in an activity that caused or contributed to the emergency;
         (c)   An individual who is rescued during the emergency and his or her employer if the person was acting in furtherance of the employer's interests;
         (d)   In cases involving the recovery of property, any person having control or custody of the property at the time of the emergency.
