(A) It shall be the stated policy of the fire department that no member may participate in any department incident under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
(B) Any firefighter who is or has been drinking alcoholic beverages will be considered out of service for any emergency.
(C) No firefighter who is or has been drinking alcoholic beverages will be allowed to drive a vehicle or respond to the station with his/her blue light in response to any fire department service incident.
(D) No firefighter will attempt to drive any department vehicle when he/she has been drinking alcoholic beverages. (Ord. 710, 11-17-1997)
