(A) Prior to the filing of an application for approval, the owner may arrange to meet with the city building and public safety officer for preliminary discussions of the proposed development. This step does not require formal application or fee.
(B) The purpose of this meeting is to afford the owner an opportunity to avail himself of advice and assistance before preparation of the required drawings and data, and before formal application for approval to save time and money, and to make the most of his opportunities.
(C) The preapplication conference is recommended, but is not a mandatory requirement of the owner. (Ord. 868, 11-19-2001)
