Vehicles used in making deliveries to adjacent premises may be parked in a parking meter zone without the insertion of the coin provided for in this section 6-2-8, between the hours of six o'clock (6:00) A.M. and seven o'clock (7:00) P.M. for a period of no more than fifteen (15) minutes.
No material of any kind shall be placed or stored in a parking meter zone unless a permit therefor has been obtained from the commissioner of streets and public improvements. Where such permit is issued, a fee of two dollars ($2.00) for each day or portion thereof for which the zone is so used shall be paid. (1968 Code, sec. 43-166)
