Every building or structure in the city used for residence, business, trade, industry or meeting purposes, where sewer service is available, shall be equipped with properly constructed and installed adequate sewage disposal facilities. The plumbing in all such places shall conform to the ordinances of the city and laws of the state relative thereto 1 . (1968 Code, sec. 53-101)
