The Parks and Recreation Director shall:
(A) Prepare and administer departmental work programs and budgets, assign staff, determine schedules and review progress on same;
(B) Direct a staff of parks and recreation personnel and office personnel in the operation and maintenance of the park system, recreation programs, and related work;
(C) Seek and apply for federal and state funds as approved by the City Council;
(D) Administer the collective bargaining agreement affecting employees of the Department;
(E) Perform other duties as assigned by the City Administrator or by resolution or ordinance of the City Council, and as required by applicable state or federal statutes and regulations; and
(F) Perform other duties as designated in the job description of the Parks and Recreation Director, which shall be prepared by the City Administrator and updated from time to time as appropriate.
