§ 156.13 SHALLOW FLOODING DISTRICT (SF).
   (A)   Permitted uses. All developments within the Shallow Flooding District shall be permitted to the extent that they are not prohibited by any other ordinance or underlying zoning district regulations and provided they meet the applicable performance standards of the Shallow Flooding District.
   (B)   Performance standards. The performance standards for the Shallow Flooding District are the same as the performance standards for the Floodway Fringe District with the following exceptions:
      (1)   In shallow flooding areas designated as “AO Zones” on the Flood Insurance Rate Map, the minimum floodproofing/flood protection elevation shall be equal to the number of feet as specified on the Flood Insurance Rate Map (or a minimum of 2.0 feet if no number is specified) above the highest natural grade adjacent to the structure; and
      (2)   In shallow flooding areas designated as “AH Zones” on the Flood Insurance Rate Map, the minimum floodproofing/flood protection elevation shall be equal to the elevation as specified on the Rate Map.
      (3)   In shallow flooding area designated as Zones AH and AO, require adequate drainage paths around structures on slopes, to guide floodwaters around and away from proposed structures.
