The salary of the Mayor is $15,000 per year, payable in semimonthly installments on the fifteenth and last day of each month commencing on January 15, 2012. The salary of the Mayor is $18,000 per year, payable in semimonthly installments on the fifteenth and last day of each month commencing on January 15, 2020. The Mayor will also receive a $75 per month allowance, payable on the last day of each month for telephone usage, email account, internet access, or other information/technology the Mayor deems appropriate. This salary and allowance shall be reviewed by the Council every four years, starting with a review in the fourth year after adoption of this section. In addition, the Mayor, while holding office, is provided with $20,000 in term life insurance and $20,000 in accidental death and dismemberment insurance, subject to the plan of the non-union employees, with the premium to be paid for by the city.
