§ 118.04 BOND REQUIRED.
   Before the Public Works Department issues a license, the applicant shall file with the Clerk a bond on a form furnished by the city in the penal sum of $1,000 conditioned for the faithful performance of all the duties required by the ordinances, rules and regulations of the city, and to save harmless the city from all claims and damages of any kind caused by the operations of the licensee or by reason of neglect or incompetence in the performance of the work, or careless guarding and maintaining of excavations made, or failure to replace all streets or public places opened in the same condition as before breaking up or opening, or for any cause growing out of the negligence or carelessness of the licensee. The persons shall also file an affidavit with the Clerk showing that a public liability insurance policy is in effect on the project which meets current city insurance coverage requirements.
