(A) Any person, firm or corporation desiring to engage in the business of wrecking and/or moving buildings shall file with the Clerk a certificate of liability insurance and a copy of the insurance policy covering the operations. The insurance policy shall provide the following minimum limits of liability:
Injury or Damage Sustained | Limit |
Bodily injury, per occurrence | $200,000 |
Bodily injury, per individual | $100,000 |
Property damage | $50,000 |
(B) The insurance policy or policies shall be approved by the City Attorney. The Public Works Department and City Attorney may require the filing of a certificate of coverage and policy of liability insurance in greater amounts as they determine to be reasonable and proper for any additional hazards. In no event shall they require more than $200,000 bodily injury per occurrence, $100,000 bodily injury per individual, and $50,000 property damage.
