The Public Works Department shall revoke the permit by serving written notice upon the contractor or individual doing the wrecking when it is found that the contractor or an individual is in violation of the terms of this chapter. The written notice shall give the contractor or individual 24 hours in which to comply with this chapter. If the contractor or individual does not so comply within the time allowed, the permit shall be revoked. The contractor or individual commits a municipal infraction if the contractor or individual continues to wreck or move the building after revocation of the permit.
