§ 112.01 PURPOSE.
   The purpose of this chapter is to protect residents of the city against fraud, unfair competition and intrusion into the privacy of their homes and to protect businesses which have posted as not allowing soliciting by licensing and regulating peddlers, solicitors and transient merchants.
