The provisions of this chapter with regard to restriction of use and operation shall not apply to the use of a snowmobile by the City Police Department, Fire Department, Emergency Medical Services or First Responders in the course of their official duties and operations. Additionally, provisions of this chapter shall not apply to officials designated by the Downtown Self-Supported Municipal Improvement District (“SSMID”) operating said vehicles within the SSMID, or to Parks Department officials on city business.
