When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall operate any vehicle with a gross weight in excess of the amounts specified on the signs upon any of the streets or parts of streets for which the signs are erected in accordance with Chapter 71 of this Traffic Code, unless the vehicle is making a pickup or delivery at a property located on the street.
