§ 112A.12 DUTY OF CITY TO ENFORCE.
   It shall be the duty of the police officers and other designated code officials of the city to examine all places of business or persons subject to the provisions of this chapter, to determine if this chapter has been complied with and to enforce the provisions of this chapter against any person found to be violating the same. Any complaints about or observed violations of food safety, sanitation or food borne illness regulations or requirements must be reported to the Iowa DIA for investigation.
