(A) The Council shall either approve or disapprove the issuance of the liquor control license or retail wine or beer permit and shall endorse its approval or disapproval on each application. Thereafter, the application, and all other necessary documentation and information, shall be forwarded to the Iowa ABD for confirmation of City approval and further action by the ABD as is provided by law.
(B) The Council shall have the power to suspend any retail beer permit or liquor license for violation of any Ordinance or regulation adopted by the Council
