In accepting a vehicle for hire permit under this chapter, the operator receiving it, including all persons having an ownership interest, agrees to indemnify and hold the city harmless from any and all claims, demands, damages, causes of actions, and costs, including all costs of litigation, costs of any kind including attorney's fees, based on or arising out of the operation or use of vehicles for hire under the permit issued under this chapter.
