§ 33.02  JUDGE.
   (A)   The Judge of the Municipal Court shall be appointed by the Mayor, by and with the consent of the City Council.
   (B)   The Judge shall receive such compensation as is fixed by the City Council and he or she shall have such duties and powers as are prescribed by the laws of the state relating to municipal courts.
