(A) At least five days prior to the commencement of the backfill operations, a user shall submit to the city’s Director of Public Works a sample of the base material to be used by the user at the construction site. Director of Public Works approval of the sample is required.
(B) A user shall notify the city’s Director of Public Works not less than two hours prior to the placement of base material. Failure to do so may result in the suspension of construction and the removal of any base material placed without prior approval.
