§ 131.99  PENALTY.
   (A)   Any minor violating the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, is guilty of a Class C misdemeanor, as defined by the state’s Penal Code, and shall be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of Tex. Family Code Title 3 and the state’s Code of Criminal Procedure.
   (B)   A parent who violates § 131.02(B) of this chapter or a person who violates § 131.02(C) of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a Class C misdemeanor, which shall be punishable by a fine.
   (C)   In assessing punishment under this chapter, the Municipal Court Judge may consider a community service program or a teen court program, in lieu of all or part of the fine.
