(A) Issuance and contents. Upon the granting of an application for a license under this chapter and the payment of the license fee deposit prescribed in § 116.22 of this chapter, the City Secretary shall issue a license receipt, which license receipt shall state the make, model, engine number and current state license number of the motor vehicle to be operated as a taxicab, the amount of the license fee paid and the period for which the license is issued.
(B) Carried in taxicab. A license receipt issued under division (A) above shall at all times be carried in the taxicab for which it was issued, available for inspection by any officer of the city.
