§ 53.45  FALSIFYING INFORMATION.
   (A)   Any person who knowingly makes any false statement, representation or certification in any application, record, report or plan or other document filed or required to be maintained pursuant to this chapter, or wastewater contribution permit, or who falsifies, tampers with or knowingly renders inaccurate any monitoring device or method required under this chapter, shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine.
   (B)   In accordance with 40 C.F.R. § 403.12(n), the reports and other documents required to be submitted or maintained under this section shall be subject to:
      (1)   The provisions of 18 U.S.C. § 1001 relating to fraud and false statements;
      (2)   The provisions of § 309(c)(4) of the Act, as amended, governing false statements, representation or certification; and
      (3)   The provisions of § 309(c)(6) of the Act regarding responsible corporate officers.
