§ 51.02  PLUMBING MAY BE CONDEMNED.
Whenever any plumbing, drainage or steam-fitting work done prior to the effective date of this chapter or hereinafter installed shall, in the opinion of the Building Inspector, be a nuisance or a detriment to public health, or the occupants of any building, the Inspector shall give notice to the owner, agent or occupants of such building to appear before the Mayor and Council at a time to be stated in said notice. At that time, it will be necessary to show cause why said plumbing, steam fitting or drainage should not be changed to conform to the provisions of this chapter or so as to abate such nuisance. If the Mayor and Council shall so direct, such plumbing or drainage shall be changed in accordance with such direction.
