Where there exist extraordinary conditions of topography, land ownership, adjacent development or other similar circumstances not provided for in this chapter, the Subdivision Committee may, upon request of the subdivider, recommend modification of the enforcement of this chapter in such manner and to such extent as it deems appropriate to the public interest. Recommendation for modification of the provisions of this chapter shall be clearly noted in the Subdivision Committee’s report regarding both the preliminary plat and final plat.
