(A) All persons shall comply with all relevant federal, state, county and town laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
(B) The permittee is responsible for obtaining any and all additional permits required to conduct the event for which the permit provided for in this chapter is obtained, or for related activities, whether such licenses or permits are required by town ordinances, regulations or state laws. The permittee will allow appropriate town, county or state representatives to conduct any inspections which may be required or deemed necessary in this regard or to insure the public’s health, safety or general welfare.
(C) No person shall erect or place upon the grounds or building any structure, machine or device upon the grounds or building without the prior written approval of the Town Manager, who shall consult with other town offices as deemed necessary. The permittee shall be responsible for obtaining any permits required in respect to such activity.
(D) No person shall erect any engine, motor or other machinery on the grounds, or use any gasoline, electricity, flammable liquid or charcoal, without first obtaining approval from the Town Fire Department, except gas, flammable liquid or charcoal used in designated grills or fire pits for preparing food.
(E) No persons shall bring, exhibit or set off any fireworks or explosives on the park grounds.
(F) No fires shall be allowed except in grills or pits as provided.
(G) Camping is prohibited in unauthorized areas.
(H) No smoking shall be allowed unless proper containers are provided therefor.
(I) Special equipment and vehicles may be used in the park by town employees or persons specifically authorized by permit issued by the town.
(J) Sale of food, beverage or other items are prohibited unless specifically authorized by permit issued by the town.
(K) Fishing and hunting will be in accordance with applicable laws of the state and the federal government.
(L) (1) Unlicensed motor vehicles and unlicensed operators thereof shall not be allowed on park property, and all motor vehicles, except maintenance vehicles shall use surfaced roadways.
(2) This provision shall not apply to:
(a) Town employees or others authorized by the town to perform inspection, repair or maintenance work;
(b) Persons providing emergency, search and rescue, medical or veterinary services; and
(c) The use and operation of a motorized wheelchair by a person who ordinarily uses such equipment.
(M) A maximum speed of five mph shall be in effect at all times for motor vehicles.
(N) Parking shall be allowed only in areas specifically reserved for parking. Overnight parking or camping is prohibited in all recreation area parking lots.
(O) No person shall use any park facility which has been declared “closed” and which has been so posted by the town.
(P) Horses are not allowed on any grass or landscaped areas.
(Q) Weapons, including handguns, rifles, shotguns and knives with blades longer than three and one-half inches are prohibited. This division (Q) does not apply during special public events when weapons are used for show and demonstration purposes or during instructional classes.
(R) Golfing is not permitted in the park, except in authorized golfing classes conducted by the recreation program.
(S) Model airplanes and boats may be operated only in areas designated for that purpose by the town.
(T) No person shall remove plants, wild animals or natural materials found in the park.
(U) The total number of persons using a park facility shall not exceed the maximum capacity specified in the permit.
(V) No material or object shall be attached to any park facility unless authorized by permit.
(W) Traffic control personnel shall be supplied by the permittee upon recommendation of the town.
(X) Concession rights are prohibited unless specifically authorized by permit.
(Y) A rental charge may be required for use of certain park facilities.
(Z) Unlicensed motor vehicles and unlicensed operators shall not be allowed on park property, and all motor vehicles except maintenance vehicles shall use surface roadways.
(AA) No person shall throw, deposit or place any commercial or non-commercial handbill in or upon any unattended vehicle parked or located in a town park.
(BB) No littering shall be permitted on park premises.
(CC) No amplified music shall be permitted on park premises.
