(A) The Council shall designate through streets, intersections where stops are required, and intersections where vehicles shall yield the right-of-way.
(B) Whenever the Council shall designate any through street or intersection where vehicles are to stop or yield the right-of-way, the Police Chief shall erect and maintain the appropriate signs at every location where a vehicle must stop or yield the right-of-way.
