§ 51.23 HAZARDOUS WASTE.

The town shall assess a surcharge to any discharges which exhibit characteristics of hazardous wastes pursuant to 40 C.F.R. part 261. The Town Utilities Superintendent shall determine the surcharge rate according to the additional operation and maintenance costs attributable to the hazardous waste.
