375.02 PERMITTED OPERATION.

   (a)   Snowmobiles may be operated only in areas designated and posted to permit such operation and only during daylight hours.

   (b)   No person shall operate a snowmobile in any area of the park except in an area of permitted operation.

   (c)   Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, whoever violates subsection (b) of this section shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00). If the offender within the preceding year previously has committed a violation of subsection (b) of this section, whoever violates subsection (b) of this section shall be fined not less than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), imprisoned not more than three days, or both.
