(A) It shall be prohibited for any person to stand or park a vehicle in a roadway other than parallel with the edge of the roadway headed in the direction of lawful traffic movement and with the right-hand wheels of the vehicle within 12 inches of the curb or edge of the roadway.
(B) It shall be permissible to park a vehicle parallel to the paved portion of the roadway headed in the direction of lawful traffic movement, provided the side of the car closest to the roadway shall be no closer than 18 inches from the roadway nor further than 48 inches from the roadway on streets without curb and gutter. Such vehicle shall have the wheels of the car furthest from the centerline of the roadway within 12 inches of the curb on streets having curb and gutter.
