The property owner shall be responsible for removing all debris and surplus materials upon completion of the work regulated under this subchapter, and shall maintain the premises in a safe manner, providing adequate barricades and lights at their own expense to protect the safety of the public using the adjacent street or sidewalk, and shall hold the village free and harmless from all damages for liability incurred.
